How a proper Las Vegas install works
- Step 1
Site prep
Remove existing surface, grade for drainage and set edges.
- Step 2
Base
3–4" of decomposed granite or Class II, wet-compacted to 90%.
- Step 3
Weed barrier
Permeable fabric laid over compacted base.
- Step 4
Turf layout
Rolls oriented the same direction, relaxed before cutting.
- Step 5
Seams & nails
Seam tape and glue, 5" galvanized nails at edges and seams.
- Step 6
Infill & finish
Silica or antimicrobial infill power-broomed into the blades.
